Full-Time Controller for Nonprofit

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1       Directly supervise two bookkeepers, one purchasing manager, and one vocational trainee.

2     Oversee accounting, purchasing, services and administration support.

3     Special projects as assigned by Executive Director.

4     Oversee financial aspects of company fundraising projects.

5      Prepare monthly financial statements.

6     Prepare reports as required by Board of Directors, other state agencies, and grants consultant.

7      Responsible for maintenance of all company insurance policies.

8     Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.  Minimum two years supervisory experience.  Ability to use computer with proficiency in worksheet and word processing software.  Experience with Sage Software is a plus.  Ability to work well with all levels of personnel.
