Job Description
Principal Duties
1. Assists in managing accounting activities of subsidiaries.
2. Assists in maintaining and reviewing of work papers, job costing schedules, reports and journal entries.
3. Assists in implementation and assurance of SOX compliance, internal control, and related reporting requirements for all companies.
4. Assists in preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual internal and intercompany financial reports and tax schedules.
5. Assists in coordination of internal and external audit processes, including preparation of audit schedules.
6. Assists Controller with special projects as requested.
7. Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
Principal Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
2. 3-5 years of public accounting experience. Prefer audit experience in construction industries and /or with publicly traded companies.
3. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Email; aptitude to learn in-house systems; keyboarding skills sufficient to complete daily tasks in a timely manner.
4. Strong mathematical skills required to make calculations with speed and accuracy.
5. Good reading skills required
6. Valid Hawaii driver’s license and favorable traffic abstract.
7. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
8. Must be at least 21 years of age.
