Job Description
Massage Team Manager
compensation: DOE, Medical/Dental employment type: full-time
Responsible for planning, implementing and directing the operational activities of a massage and spa operation. High volume operation requiring strong customer service skills.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Develop a sales strategy to achieve sales goals and revenues
• Manage massage and manicurist teams
• Establish a customer service oriented culture
• Responsible for general financial management including revenue enhancement and cost control
• Oversee the activities and performance of the team
• Evaluate performance of team members
• Provide feedback, support and coaching/training to the team members
• Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue
• Generate daily, weekly, monthly sales reports
• Develop pricing schedules and rates
• Formulate sales policies and procedures
• Maintain inventory control
• Conduct research and customer analysis
• Cultivate effective business relationships with vendors
• Recruit new employees
• Create work schedules
• Fill in for absent employees when needed
• Payroll reporting
• Inspect stores for cleanliness, merchandising and displays
Education and Experience
• Experience in all aspects of planning and implementing sales strategy
• Technical sales skills
• Proven experience in customer relationship management
• Knowledge of market research
• Experience in managing and directing a sales team
