Job Description
Position Summary:
The Payroll Assistant will provide support to the Payroll Department to ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll records for multiple companies by compiling, organizing, and entering data into timekeeping/job costing, and payroll system. The Payroll Assistant will follow-up with employee timesheet submittal and assists in weekly payroll check verification. The Payroll Assistant will also regularly provide some administrative support to other areas of the Corporate Personnel Department.
Ideal candidate will have:
- One year of general office experience required
- One or more years of Payroll experience
- Experience with Timberline and/or ADP
- Experience with Microsoft Office software applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- High-School Diploma or equivalent required; College graduate preferred
