We are currently seeking an experienced Adult Day Care and Day Health Program Director to join our organization. The position is Full Time, working Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for management, operation and content of the Adult Day Care and Day Health Program on a day-to-day basis
Directly supervises healthcare and administrative staff
Performs assessments and facilitates admission of clients to the Center
Develops an individualized plan of care based on the clients’ needs and strengths
Schedules, coordinates and facilitates functions and special events
Develops and management of the budget
Develops policies and procedures
The Successful Applicant must have:
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and two to four years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Managerial/ supervisory experience in Day Care/ Day Health Management is highly desirable.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
The ability to build interpersonal relationships, promote the program, and represent the organization in a positive manner
Background preferably in physical therapy, occupational therapy, therapeutic recreation, counseling or other health care related field.
