We’re looking for experienced QA candidates who are highly motivated to ensure product quality. You should have experience building repeatable test processes, incorporating feature development into test plans and managing the execution of testing across various types of technologies. You will drive the creation of test frameworks and tools across various applications to ensure the execution of those tests through various automated frameworks. This role requires the ability to take initiative, are comfortable presenting reports and inefficiencies that can be optimized and can execute manual QA throughout the development cycle.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Test plan creation
- Document, prioritize, and track all bugs/defects
- Create and validate security roles and permissions as defined in the project requirements
- Surface areas of risk or vulnerabilities in the bug description and work with project team members to ensure issues are resolved
- Assist client in user acceptance testing phase
- Ability to quickly assess areas in the system that have higher risk, and to establish a test strategy to ensure those areas receive proper test coverage
- Assist in final development complete sign off by demonstrating full system functionality as it relates to each of the requirements and user stores defined in the project
- Ability to define smoke test strategy and plan
- For QA Lead: Ability to lead the overall QA effort and assigned resources from the project
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent profession preferred
- 5+ years experience as a test engineer/developer/or related field
- 5+ years of experience managing other technical resources
- Unit test frameworks test driven development practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
