Job Description

Position: Service Coordinator

Service Coordinator Job Purpose: Under the general supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Manager or Site Manager, the Service Coordinator has the primary responsibility for organizing, coordinating, controlling and directing the activities of the Maintenance Department. It is the role of the Service Coordinator to perform various clerical functions to include updating and maintaining the facilities management system and scheduling daily, weekly, monthly, bi-annual, and annual maintenance and cleaning schedules of the facility. The Service Coordinator will be working with a team of facility maintenance personnel and may also be responsible for performing additional duties not stipulated below.

Service Coordinator Job Duties: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Report to a Facility Maintenance Manager or Site Manager who is responsible for the overall maintenance of services in the facility
Update, manage, and maintain computer work order system(s)
Input recurring and preventive maintenance service information
Input past, current and daily service information
Print and distribute work orders to technicians
Track and update work orders
Generate reports as necessary
Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to maintenance and responding to special requests
Observe and report safety violations and actively participates in emergency situations
Maintains necessary records and prepares required reports
Attend safety meetings and other related meetings as necessary
Other duties to support the facilities team as necessary

Skills/Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously, outstanding customer service skills, ability to work effectively individually and with a team, ability to follow oral and written instructions, proven experience working with tight deadlines within a high paced environment, basic computer knowledge with in depth knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows.

Military Installation Access: This position resides on a military installation. Candidate must be able to qualify for and obtain a base access pass and security clearance. Na Ali’i will work with the government to obtain this pass and clearance at no cost to the employee.

Education and Experience: Associate’s degree or its equivalent and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
