Job Description
Principal Duties
1. Process material requisitions for Unistrut projects including pulling, palletizing, or bundling material from shelves and racks.
2. Pre-assemble fittings with channel nuts and bolts. Pre-assemble beam clamps.
3. Cut material as required from provided cut lists for Unistrut crew.
4. Prepare job site deliveries including loading and securing materials, job boxes, and other equipment to the vehicle.
5. Pickup material, tools, supplies and equipment, as needed, from local vendors and deliver to job site.
6. Pickup and process returned material from job site for return to stock.
7. Fabricate various assemblies from printed drawings showing specific dimensions and configurations for Unistrut crew and/or Unistrut customers.
8. Assist in receiving and processing Unistrut stock shipments including reconciling packing lists with quantities received, reporting count/item discrepancies to warehouse manager, reporting damages to warehouse manager, locating stock material in shelves, racks, etc. as directed.
9. Moves material and other items from receiving to storage or to other designated areas.
10. Sorts and places material on rack, shelves or in bins according to predetermined storage assignments.
11. Assembles customer orders from stock and readies orders for delivery/shipment.
12. Delivers orders to customers.
13. Assist with good housekeeping and maintenance within the warehouse, yard, and other facilities.
14. Plan efficient route for delivery of orders to customers.
15. Ensure all delivery items are properly marked and comply with applicable hazardous material requirements.
16. Assist with annual inventory; and keep delivery vehicle clean and in safe working condition.
17. Serve as the last quality control check for correct delivery of material.
18. Conduct spot inventory checks as directed.
19. Performs other duties as assigned.
Principal Requirements
1. High school graduate.
2. One year forklift and warehouse/delivery experience preferred.
3. Valid Type 3 Hawaii driver’s license and clean driving abstract.
4. Ability to lift 50 – 100 pounds regularly.
5. Ability to work flexible hours (starting times/ shift).
6. Good geographical knowledge of island helpful and ability to read maps.
7. Must be at least 21 years of age.
