Job Description
Do you take satisfaction in making guests feel welcome and ensuring they get high quality meals, great service and accurate guest checks in a fast paced environment? Gyotaku Cashiers enjoy a great working environment, supported by a talented kitchen staff preparing consistently delicious and appealing menu items and caring Managers. Daily Work Routine:
- Prepare cashier stand and cash drawer.
- Light food prep related to take out orders.
- Process on-line, phone and in person take out orders.
- Package meals to go and present to guests.
- Handle guest check transactions, close bills with cash, credit and account payments.
- Take dine in reservations by phone, manage wait list, seat guests.
- Balance sales report at end of shift.
- Help Bussers & Servers when necessary.
- Be focused on exceeding guest expectations of a great meal experience.
- Maintaining an organized clean and sanitary work station.
- Follow company, Serve Safe & State Dept. of Health best practices for food safety & hygiene.
Cashier Hourly Pay $11.00 ~ $14
(Plus approx. $5 to $15 per hour in tips, depending on sales and shifts worked, higher tips on weekend shifts)
Typical shifts at 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 9:30PM ~10:30PM
