Job Title: Certificate Nurse Aide or Resident’s Aide
Department: Resident Care
FLSA Status: Full-time or Part-Time, Hourly
Reports To: Director of Nurse
Purpose: Provide professional nurse aide care to our residents daily under the supervision of the Unit manager/supervisor.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- Graduate of a Certified Nurse Aide program. 6 months experience in long-term care preferred.
- Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff as a team player with compassionate and positive personality
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English to communicate effectively internally and externally
- Must meet all health-related requirements pertaining to state license
- Be familiarized with DOH, Hawaii Administrative Rules Title 11 Assisted Living Facility and Arch Home type II.
Essential Duties
- Provide daily ADL care such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene assistance, incontinence care, transferring, and escorting to residents in accordance with the Resident Service Plans and as directed by Director of Nursing and Care supervisor of the unit.
- Be able to pick up different shift as needed to work as a team
- Proper documentation for daily ADL record on POC system and report for any incident to supervisor as needed
