Job Description
Startup Marketing Agency is looking for between 1 and 3 marketing & advertising, content creation, and/or business development interns.
The position is primarily remote – you will be required to communicate via Slack and email as well as via video. Occasionally we will meet in person for events and content creation.
You will have the opportunity to set flexible hours based on your schedule. We will work with you to find a time that we can communicate and set goals, and when you can be expected to accomplish those goals.
You WILL be expected to do a lot of self education and studying!! This means finding and reading articles and guides, subscribing to emails and blogs, joining and engaging with industry groups, watching videos and courses, and ASKING QUESTIONS!
While internships are about learning, a big part of learning is also *doing*.
You will get a chance to implement what you learn and gain hands on experience implementing the skills that you develop. The primary areas that you will have the opportunity to engage with are:
Facebook & Instagram Ads
Chatbots
Google Adwords
Content Creation & Storytelling – Video / Photo / Graphic Design
Copy Writing
Web Design – UI/UX, Coding, Configuration
Sales & Business Development
Data Visualization & Analytics
All of the above are valuable skills in a creative field with growing demand and high earning potential. They are just some of the concrete skills that are changing the landscape for businesses and customers globally.
