Job Description

We are looking for a Nurse responsible for the safe and efficient dispensing of methadone medication to patients in compliance with regulations and clinic policies and procedures. Will train.
Responsibilities include:
– Accurately and efficiently dispenses daily doses of methadone medication.
– Assessment of patient’s physical condition; reporting observations to supervisor either verbally or in writing.
– Explains the proper use of dispensed medication and its effects to clients.
– Maintain current inventory of medications and medical supplies in a secure environment.
– Assist with occasional patient intake/discharge
– Interact with Physicians, Nurses, Counselors and Clinic Admins to provide high quality patient care.

Qualifications/Requirements
– Current State of Hawaii Nursing License RN or LPN
– No experience necessary
– Current CPR/First Aid Certification
– Clean background check
– Available for scheduled shifts 2 to 3 days:
* Mon to Fri 5:00 am-1:00 pm (or later depending on intakes/paperwork)
* Sat 6:30 am-12:30 pm (or later depending on paperwork)

– Can switch days with other Nurses.
– Desire to work with vulnerable population.
