Full-Time Information Security Analyst
Job Summary: Oversees or participates in planning, developing, implementing, testing, monitoring, and reviewing the credit union’s information security and security operations programs to protect information assets and mitigate risks for unauthorized access, disclosure, and misuse.
Designs, implements, and maintains security solutions/controls to actively detect and mitigate threats. Develops plans, policies, standards, and procedures to support the Information Security Program (ISP). Actively participates in the response and reports all related security events and incidents. Works with technical and business unit staff to ensure that deployed technologies are effectively and efficiently providing the intended security measures/controls consistent with established policies and procedures. As it relates to security, provides production support, maintenance, and monitoring of systems/applications. Delivers security awareness training and management reports as required. Participates and supports IT Governance requirements.
Minimum Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management, related discipline or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience in information security and or security operations. Must have functional knowledge of information systems, information security, and project management. Understanding of vulnerability analysis and exploitation techniques. Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with management and end-users. Security+ certification or equivalent preferred.
Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.
