Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Taking medical histories
- Recording vital signs
- Preparing patients for exams
- Administering shots
- Preparing lab specimens, performing basic lab tests, sterilizing medical equipment
- Advising on treatment plans
- Cleaning waiting and examination rooms, ordering supplies and equipment
- Performing EKG’s and Audio/Visual testing
- Assisting Physician with other duties as needed
Desired Qualifications
- High school degree or completion of GED required
- Completion of Medical Assisting Program required
- Minimum of 1 year of qualified work experience within medical field desired
- Must be detail-oriented, organized and a good multi-tasker with the ability to work under pressure
- Hours are Monday through Saturday which includes one half-day during the week and half-day on Saturday
