Job Description

The Sales Representative (Sales Rep) will be responsible for establishing a client base with both local and national companies. The Sales Rep will sell services offered by the company to current and new clientele as well as maintain customer relationships.

CORE JOB DUTIES (includes by not limited to)

· Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.

· Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.

· Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.

· Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.

· Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.

· Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.

· Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.

· Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

· Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

· Provides periodic sales forecasts.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field.

· At least three to five years of related experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

· Must be able to travel.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

· None.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8a – 5p; Varies; Occasional Weekends and Holidays may be required.
