Job Description
We are a growing remodeling company currently looking to add to add to our current staff. We are specifically looking for someone with experience in general construction knowledge. Because we are a general contractor our jobs range from kitchen and bathrooms to finished basements which requires a range in knowledge. Skills you MUST have to apply for this job: – Carpentry (3+ years): Ability to use a circular, miter, and table saw with 100% accuracy. – Punch Out (3+years): Ability to review/complete and identify punch out list items on kitchens, bathrooms, paint, basements, etc. – Caulking (3+years): Ability to apply caulking correctly. – Demo (5+years): Must know how to appropriately demo different types of jobs to make the least mess and prepare for the next stages of constructions. – Painting (3+years): Must have some knowledge of painting. We will not disqualify an application if you are not proficient in painting however you must be willing to learn. – Finished Trim (5+ years): Must be able to install base and window/door trim. Crown molding a big plus. – Fixture Installs (5+years): Must have experience installing finished fixtures. This includes lights, door knobs, fans, cabinet hardware, bathroom hardware, faucets. We are willing to train on some of these items but must have experience handing and installing finished hardware correctly. – Drywall – Requirement We are willing to train for some skills but at this time we are looking for a candidate with a good list of experiences in this type of residential remodeling construction. If you do not meet the above qualification please list in complete detail in your cover letter all of the areas in which you have experience, and example of that experience, and how many years. We are focused on good quality work and a cohesive work environment. Ability to be self managed and work independently is a plus. There is tons of room for growth. Pay will be based on experience and we offer bonuses based on quality and timeliness of completion. Must have a driver’s license and vehicle to get to work. We will not disqualify someone because of a criminal history but we do need to know upfront if there is any. We are looking to invest in long term employees who want to grow with the company and learn new skills.
