Job Description

DoorHelper provides door repair and installation in Toronto and the GTA. We have been in business since 2011 and have earned the trust of our customers. Now we are looking for a WordPress developer who will take on the development of our website.

 

Requirements:

  • Obligatory commercial experience from 1 year.
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, ability to make a valid layout.
  • Ability to use Advanced Custom Fields PRO.
  • Knowledge of WordPress template file hierarchy, WordPress template structure.
  • Ability to create custom WP Query requests.
  • Ability to use WordPress hooks and filters.
  • Ability to use in WordPress technology Ajax load more, submit form, search, etc.
  • Understanding of the JSON format.
  • Integration of third-party solutions using API.
  • Knowledge of the base structure in WordPress.
  • Knowledge of the types of caching.
  • Creating your own JS solutions.
  • Knowledge of PHP data types, working with arrays and objects, functions, loops.
  • Ability to debugging.
  • Understanding of WordPress plugin structure.
  • Creation of custom types, taxonomies and terms.
  • Experience using site optimization tools.
  • Good knowledge of client-server architecture.
  • Writing regular expressions.
  • Knowledge of basic SQL queries.
  • Experience using version control.
  • Experience with sessions, cookies, local storage.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Developing new and editing existing WordPress templates.
  • Layout and optimization of adaptive HTML/CSS layouts.
  • Search and adaptation of ready-made solutions for the required task.
  • Support for the company’s website.
