Dining Services Manager
15 Craigside
Location: Honolulu, Hawaii

We are seeking an experienced Dining Services Manager to join the Dining Services Department at the 15 Craigside Retirement Residence. The position is Full Time (40 hrs. per week), working various shifts as scheduled Sunday through Saturday

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develops, implements, and monitors the service standards for a quality dining experience
  • Manages, coordinates, and schedules dining services staff
  • Collaborates with department managers, supervisors, and staff members to address and meet the residents’ needs and concerns in regards to food in a timely fashion
  • Provides Director of Dining Services, Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and Dietitian continuous feedback from residents on food preparation, presentation, taste, and variety
  • Supervises 30+ staff, interviews, hires, trains, coaches, and evaluates employees

The Successful Applicant must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Hotel or hospitality experience is desired.
  • Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Preparation Professional
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency using Point of Sale (POS) systems and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
