Brown and Caldwell, a national environmental engineering firm, has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated Engineer to join our Municipal Design Services group in Honolulu, HI. Job Expectations:
-Actively manage assigned water and wastewater projects and key clients
-Manage design consultants, surveyors, testing consultants, contractors, vendors, and others team members
-Regularly report to and meet with client management and stakeholders
-Create scopes of work
-Create conceptual designs
-Perform field observation of construction
-Problem solve
-Create and write SOPs and conduct training
-Help mentor junior level staff members
-Provide marketing and technical support during the procurement and execution of key -projects as requested
Desired Skills and Experience:
–B.S. degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering with an Environmental Engineering focus required; M.S. degree preferred
–Professional Engineering registration
–Minimum of 8 years of increasingly-responsible experience in the design, and rehab of water and wastewater plant facilities, pumping stations, collection pipelines, and complex water systems and storage tanks
–Experience with Project Management, Construction Management and contract knowledge desired
