AnnaSea International Hawaii is looking to hire a Driver – Non CDL to retrieve and deliver products from auction, warehouse, and freight forwarders. The ideal candidate can work early hours, typically starting at 5:00 am and has a passion for Hawaiian seafood. This individual must have a positive attitude and enjoys hard work.

Monday – Friday between 8am to 2pm.

Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of Cube Truck
  • Operate Cube Truck to and from auction to warehouse,
  • Proper loading of fish products onto truck, ensuring all items are counted properly secure
  • Proper unloading of fish products from Cube Truck to warehouse
  • Ensure records of receiving and packing are accurate
  • Deliver fish products to freight forwarders
  • Safety and courteously all equipment, including pallet jacks, lift gates, load locks and more
  • Assist in packing room as needed
  • Follow instructions and HACCP guidelines
  • Maintain proper fish handling and clean-up procedures using gaffs and knives, including but not limited to cutting head and fins off of fish
  • Attend mandatory employee and training meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 200 pounds
  • Must have the ability to assist in loading and unloading hundreds of pounds of fish
  • Must have the ability to work in a cold environment of 40 degrees or colder
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a through driving background check
  • Furnish own warm clothing and waterproof boots
  • Possess written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate with vendors, clients, and all employees and management effectively and professionally
  • Ability to understand to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule according to seasonal demands
  • Cube truck driving and forklift experience is a plus
