PhotonWorks Engineering LLP, a local electrical integration company, seeks an individual for the Energy Sales Consultant Position to help us grow our energy division within Hawaii. This is an excellent opportunity for growth within an established company in a great market.
Energy Sales Consultant is responsible for the development and performance of sales activities in their assigned market. Directs sales efforts and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in their area and participates in training and educational programs to increase their knowledge and certainty.
Energy Sales Consultant Duties

– Prepares and follows action plans for the effective searching out and contacting sales leads and prospects.
– Initiates and implements action plans to penetrate new markets.
– Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
– Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding their performance.
– Provides timely, accurate, and competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
– Maintains accurate records for all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Executives.
– Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
– Assists Account Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations as needed.
– Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes as well as ensuring that they are communicated and implemented with the team.
– Sustains rapport with key accounts and clients by making periodic visits, exploring their specific need and anticipating new opportunities.
– Updates job knowledge by participation in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Required Skills:
– Experience in Solar/Renewable Energy, Sales, Design and Installation.
– Knowledge of existing as well as emerging renewable energy products and technologies.
– Reliable self-starter.
– Motivated to help grow an excellent company in new areas.
