Our team of experienced agents knows every neighborhood and can provide expert advice on school districts, animal quarantine rules, and commute times to help guide our clients through the home-buying or renting process.

Role Description

At Home Hawaii is seeking a Real Estate Sales & Property Management Assistant for a part-time, hybrid position in our Honolulu office on Oahu, working on-site and off-site at times. This position is perfect for someone who wants to jump into the local real estate industry, learning how to work with online programs, that are used by our independant real estate sales agents and independent property managers, and to jump start their training to be a licensed real estate professional while earning an hourly wage. Programs like our local Multiple Listing Service(MLS), ZipForms, a lease and sales contract writing/signature program and Buildium, our property management program. The assistant will assist in the day-to-day operations of the company, working with Property Managers and Real Estate Sales Agents to help manage & market properties, maintain positive tenant relations, schedule rental maintenance, draft & execute rental agreements for properties, etc. The real estate assistant will also be responsible for managing and responding to incoming inquiries and would be responsible for keeping necessary paperwork organized for preparing lease agreements, tenant move-outs and real estate sales related transaction management.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in real estate, property management or any documentation preparation/management would be a plus but not necessary.
  • A Hawaii Real Estate license is preferred but not necessary.
  • Ability to manage paperwork and organization skills to assist the senior property manager and broker of the company.
  • Effective communication, people and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficient in online marketing, social media, google, etc.
  • Comfortable with basic math and financial concepts to calculate rent and handling some simple bookkeeping and maintence task entries.
  • College degree or working towards one is preferred, or relevant work experience will suffice.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and an insured vehicle. Mileage paid for use of your vehicle.

Hourly Pay range is $20 – $25 per hour, depending on experience and if applicant holds a real estate license(not required).
