Position Announcement: Island Manager, Oahu (Senior Archaeologist)
Scientific Consultant Services, Inc. (SCS Archaeology) is currently accepting applications for the position of Oahu Island Manager (Archaeology) based in our Honolulu office. Candidates should possess a strong background in Pacific Island archaeology. Duties to include interaction with clientele and various agencies, oversight of archaeological workflow, writing and field duties as necessary. Applicants possessing a M.A. degree or higher in anthropology (specialization in archaeology) or a degree in a related field will be considered. This announcement is for a full-time position. Time and task management are essential, as work will routinely necessitate dividing time between concurrent projects. Some off-island travel may be necessary. A valid driver’s license and automobile is required. Applicant should be to be able to perform their work independently, or in a team with co-workers/other personnel encountered on the job.
