The Ala Moana Hotel’s Valet Department is often the first point of contact for guests visiting our property and the lasting impression when guests depart. Therefore, the Parking Valet position becomes more than simply parking/retrieving vehicles; it’s about making a positive contribution to the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Assists arriving and departing guests with parking and retrieving their vehicles.
- Greet and provide assistance to guests.
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel features and services.
Qualified Candidates Must Possess:
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Must have a clean driver’s abstract for the past 12 months (no moving violations)
- Ability to drive manual/automatic transmission
- The ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
- Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts; including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
