Job Description
Principal Duties
- Assist in compiling and producing various reports as requested by the President/General Manager.
- Maintain or assist with the maintenance of a variety of records which may include accounting, quality control, safety, production control, material usage, and job files in a timely and easily accessible manner in accordance with department requirements.
- Perform payroll tasks with the understanding of the company’s payroll procedures and concepts.
- Meet daily, weekly, and end-of-month payroll deadlines.
- Provide support for Contract and Project administration.
- Operate office equipment to make copies and print production packets.
- Perform front desk/office tasks, which include answering and routing phone calls, greeting guests, and ordering office supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Promote awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies.
- Exhibit a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.
Principal Requirements
- Some college preferred.
- One year office experience, preferably in accounting.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Email; aptitude to learn in-house systems; keyboarding skills sufficient to complete daily tasks in a timely manner.
- 10 key by touch.
- Good math skills to handle accounting tasks with accuracy.
- Good reading skills.
- Valid Hawaii driver’s license and favorable traffic abstract.
- Able to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure effective internal and external communications.
- Detail oriented.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
