Listed as a National and Local Best Place to Work, Bowers + Kubota Consulting is seeking an experienced Process Control Systems Specialist with minimum 5 years of technical experience with process control/industrial control systems. Knowledgeable in the areas of process controls and automation to include; Control Systems Engineering, DCS, SCADA, PLCs, Instrumentation, and Electrical Systems. Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) registration or completion of relevant training courses desired.
This person should be able to read and comprehend engineering drawings, review technical submittals, write daily reports, and be proficient in MS Office. The individual should also be able to understand and enforce project specifications and construction means and methods. Key competencies include self-motivated, detail- oriented, dependable, problem solving, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with the following systems desired:
•Control System Networks using fiber, Ethernet and Devicenet communications
•Programmable Logic Controller configuration (e.g. Allen- Bradley)
•Human Machine Interface (HMI) configuration (e.g. Rockwell RS FactoryTalk View)
